You know what really grinds my gears?
With apologies to Peter Griffin, I seriously do not understand the need for commercial 3D software to present figures in a freakishly Utopian parody of what the human body usually looks like. The figure to the right is created in SmithMicro Poser7. It is also the BASE model. I edited nothing in it. I don't know about you, but I never see anyone who looks like that outside of pro wrestling and the NFL.
The best part is, you can't make him look normal. You can only make him look fat (yet still muscular) or freakishly Ethiopian (and still muscular). Don't even get me started on the female models who look like they all walked out of a Jenna Jameson video. It's amazing how hard it is to find an un-hard body!
Stunning.

As I sit here at my desk waiting for the caffeine to kick in and for the day to get started, I think to myself as I always think to myself:
Did I make the right choice being a graphic designer, graphic artist, multimedia designer or whatever the job title of the moment is?
The answer, today, just as it is more often than not is absolutely I did. With the deadlines, the meetings, the revisions, the wrangling with clients and superiors, jumping between graphic lead and subordinate, I still have what I consider one of the best jobs in the world. I get to come into work every day and get paid to be awesome and creative. Who could want more than that?
Absolutely.

After a lot of work, I have finally been able to add to my portfolios. This time I have added a graphic design portfolio and re-built my photography portfolio using a different system to display them than the one I previously created. Feel free to check out the work and please give me feedback!
I'm feeling good about the direction of my site. As I continue to add more and more content this place should get a lot more interesting, informative and, hopefully, fun!
